the "Manson Murders" episode of "Ghost Hunters"), the
KII meter was specially configured for
use in the paranormal field.
This EMF meter
is becoming widely accepted by the Paranormal community

KII - EMF DETECTOR with ON-OFF Control
This is an upgraded version of the KII Meter, as
we have added a knurled knob for ON-OFF control of the device.
This overrides the momentary-contact push-for-on switch
and it means you can turn on the meter with a slight twist of the
knob instead of having to keep your thumb on the switch. It
is a retrofit that gives you much more freedom of movement. You
can now turn on the meter and set it down for remote monitoring if
you wish, as it will remain on until you turn it off. The add-on
knob is mechanical . . . not electronic, so it does not interfere with
the meter's sensitivity.

This is a fantastic accessory for your KII meter. In less than a minute
you'll convert your KII into a device that can be turned on and set down
for monitoring -- no need anymore to hold the momentary contact switch down
with your thumb! A slight twist of the knob and the meter is ON --
turn it back (CCW) and the meter is OFF. We've had requests for this
and we responded.
Made entirely of non-conductive material, this mechanical
solution is much safer than wiring in an electrical switch, and it
CANNOT interfere or influence your readings. Comes with complete

KII EMF METER with Electrical Switch Installed
For those who prefer to have an electrical
toggle switch on their KII meter, we provide this version of the KII.
As with the mechanical knob control, this will allow you to
turn your meter on and set it down, or carry it without having to keep
your thumb on the center momentary contact tab. With the switch in
the OFF position, you can still operate the meter using the usual thumb-press
tab.
